Wife picked up our Sunday dinner. I had Meat Loaf as entree -simply delicious as was peach cobbler dessert!
I went to Soul 2 Go on a Sunday about 10 minutes before closing. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I ordered smothered pork chops with candied yams and green beans. The food was excellent and the proportions were generous. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Passing this by to an appointment, I decided to circle back on my way out. Read a few reviews but they weren't recent so I'm ready to do my part! I ordered the Jr plate so I could choose 2 different 'meats' -smothered pork chop and fries catfish. Two sides - Mac and cheese and collard greens. There are certain sides on certain days so be sure to check out the menu if you have a favorite. Sorry, I inhaled the catfish so no pic. It was fried just past golden and crispy! The smothered pork chop gravy was flavorful. the breaded pork chop was tender but may have sat in the gravy too long. It didn't stop me though! The Mac and cheese was tasty. I even got a part of the cheesy top. Added a little salt and pepper and it was good to me! The greens not so much as they seemed to be missing something. Every dinner comes with corn bread and it was sweet and not dry. The lady at the counter was efficient and made sure I knew the dish would take longer. I appreciate the honesty! Now I know I will call ahead if I am pressed for time.
